Last month,during an event in London I’ve had the fantastic opportunity to visit the St. James’ Court, A Taj Hotel and Taj 51 Buckingham Gate
This is not so much a hotel but rather an experience. Part of the Tata Group, the hotel has built a reputation for excellence over the years, not to mention the Michelin starred restaurant Quilon, the premier Golden Keys Concierge service and the functional and equipped Wellness Centre.

Hamptons is my favorite bar. It’s a pleasure to relax in the magical garden and enjoy the delicious cocktail at the bar with friends or even for a business meeting.With a sophisticated colour scheme, large elegant gilt mirrors and high-backed chairs the décor creates a sense of intimacy for drinkers.
Zander Bar
This chic ‘Bar of the Year’ boasts the longest cocktail bar in Europe. Zander’s team is highly trained.
Finally, if you’re stressed out, you can always take a break relax at the 51 Fitness Centre. You can use the Gym and saunas. Also you can try the luxurious products which refresh and revitalize with vitamin and mineral-rich treatments.

Il mese scorso in occasione di un evento a Londra ho avuto modo di scoprire un hotel stupendo:St.James Court Buckingam Gate del Gruppo Taj Hotel.
Se cercate un posto rilassante dove si respira lusso e relax e allo stesso tempo situato in posizione centrale, a pochi passi da Buckingam Palace, questo Hotel è l’ideale. L’Hotel è diviso in due aree St. James Court e Taj 51 Buckingam Gate Suites e Residences.
Il St James’ Court ospita il premiato ed elegante Zander Bar,il ristorante Quilon,segnalato dalla guida Michelin, il Westminster Bank,che propone un moderno menù britannico, e il Bistro 51,dove si possono gustare specialità della cucina europea preparate al momento.
Inoltre se siete stressati dopo una giornata di lavoro,potete approfittare del centro benessere dotato anche di palestra interna e personal trainer oltre che di sauna bagno turco e di tutti i trattamenti benessere più esclusivi con prodotti naturali.
Fiore all’occhiello dell’hotel è St. James’ Courtyard, il giardino dove si possono degustare ottimi cocktails e rilassanti the come da tradizione.
La storica fontana vittoriana si erge al centro del giardino fiorito e rende l’atmosfera degna di un romanzo di Shakespeare.
Il Taj si distingue per la sua calda ospitalità indiana, un servizio di classe mondiale e un ambiente di lusso moderno.

The Paestum’s White Gold. Discovering “Il Granato”, a beautiful cheesefarm.
The visit to dairy in one of the leading farms between Paestum and Battipaglia, “Il Granato” by Enzo Cerrato, allows you to see up close the buffaloes, with smells and sounds that are integrated with the modernity of the stables. You can assist the manufacture of mozzarella, a soft buffalo milk cheese, where you can feel the passion that shines through the manual and the wisdom of artisan. The term mozzarella derives from the name of the operation of docking made from mixing to separate the individual pieces. It is often called the Queen of the Mediterranean cuisine, but also white gold or pearl of the board, in compliance with the finest quality food and taste of the product. In this corner of paradise beetwen free horses, buffalos and a nice factory you can taste fantastic fruits yogurt and a lot of cakes and desserts like semifreddo, viennetta, cannolo and the famous cream of Bronte’s pistachio. So visit “Il Granato” and Paestum area if you are looking for a journey through the breathtaking sights of the Campania to discover the smells, tastes and landscapes of the Italian Mediterranean: good food, art and relax.

L’ORO BIANCO DI PAESTUM
Alla scoperta del caseificio “Il Granato”.

Da qualche tempo nella piana di Paestum, con vista sulla Valle dei Templi, è nato un nuovo suggestivo caseificio che svolge le attività di allevamento, produzione, vendita e didattica. Sulla SS18, la Via della Mozzarella per antonomasia, nel tratto tra Battipaglia e Capaccio-Paestum, ecco che spunta,al km 96,5, immerso completamente nel verde, il Caseificio “Il Granato”. Parlare di caseificio è però riduttivo.Il proprietario, il signor Enzo Cerrato, ha fatto le cose in grande: un maneggio con numerosi cavalli allo stato brado, 400 capi di bufala di razza mediterranea italiana che brucano spensierati nei prati, un’elegante struttura con mattoni a vista e, accanto al laboratorio artigianale, un giardino con eleganti tavoli in ferro battuto e ceramiche di Vietri dove gli ospiti possono degustare in pace le prelibatezze della casa.In questo luogo ameno vengono prodotti ogni giorno, 7 giorni su 7, grazie all’aiuto di 23 collaboratori, tutti rigorosamente del luogo, 14 quintali di latte di bufala, 3 quintali di mozzarella artigianale, 60 kg di ricotta, formaggi oltre a innumerevoli e variegati dolci. I sapori unici, gli aromi, le fragranze dei prodotti caseari de “Il Granato” sono il risultato di un lungo e meticoloso lavoro di trasformazione artigianale del latte proprio.
I Maestri Caseari curano con attenzione il naturale processo di maturazione dei formaggi stagionati con la stessa passione con cui vengono realizzati, a mano, la “mozzatura” della rinomata Mozzarella di Bufala e le altre fresche prelibatezze. I gesti arcaici, il rigoroso rispetto della tradizione, portano fino al grande pubblico la bontà di un gusto antico, il fascino inimitabile di un sapore senza tempo. A tutto questo si aggiungono i gelati di bufala, un mix ineguagliabile di gusto e genuinità. Chi desidera invece degustare gli stessi sapori, magari con un occhio alla linea, può assaggiare gli inimitabili yogurt:malto d’orzo,mirtilli,vaniglia,fragola sono solo alcuni dei sapori che arricchiscono questa prelibatezza.Per chi invece ama l’intensità e la freschezza del prodotto allo stato puro, lo yogurt di latte di bufala è disponibile anche in bianco.Ai più golosi gli yogurt vengono serviti con fragranti brioches calde fatte a mano.Assolutamente da provare, infine, sono i budini di latte di bufala dall’aroma intenso e corposo oppure i semifreddi, la viennetta artigianale,i cannoli con ricotta di bufala,le granite e la mitica crema di pistacchio di Bronte,molto cara al signor Cerrato.
In questo piccolo angolo di Paradiso ci sono spesso visite scolastiche, dove i bambini possono conoscere la filiera alimentare del latte e ammirare gli animali che girano liberi per i prati, oppure si svolgono lezioni di cucina per adulti con i Maestri Caseari o gli chef stellati.
Questo è il caseificio “Il Granato”, un’eccellenza del Sud Italia che con passione,professionalità e alta qualità è riuscita a sconfiggere la crisi e a guardare al futuro con rinnovato ottimismo.Questo è il Sud che ci piace!
