There still is, in Lerici, between La Caletta and Fiascherino, in one of Italy’s most beautiful bays, loved by famous artists such as David Herbert Lawrence, Mario Soldati, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Emma Orczy, George Sand, Lord Byron, Gabriele D’Annunzio and baptized by playwright Sem Benelli the ‘Gulf of Poets’, a small inlet immersed in a silence which permits only the music of the sea, it’s echo, to be heard.

The Beach factory

Swimming in clear water, with a few little fish here and there, relaxing and sunbathing in peace, facing the sea without having to deal with any chatter, gossip or indiscrete, prying looks from fellow travellers… with pure desire that the essence of this will remain with you like a stone from the past necessary for building your future.

The Inn

Sleep in this comfortable bed lulled by the echo of the sea so rhythmically repetitive in it’s constant diversity bringing you back to reality given the uniqueness of every wave that gently breaks . Waking up in the morning with the gift of being able to immediately enjoy the beauty of the sea, kissed by the red sun on the water , which seems to smile at you… Happy day in the dream that continues…

Restaurant

… stimulating all five senses: taste delicious and wholesome foods, listen to the echo of the sea, feel the warm sand, watch gulls as they circle overhead, smell the scent of nature’s perfume…

Sulla strada tra Lerici e Tellaro, in Liguria, in uno dei più incantevoli golfi di tutta Italia, amato e decantato da Grandi come David Herbert Lawrence, Mario Soldati, Indro Montanelli, Percy Byssne Shelley, Emma Orczy, George Sand, Lord Byron, Gabriele D’annunzio, Sandro BottIccelli (nel suo celebre dipinto “Nascita di Venere” nello sfondo è raffigurato il Golfo de La Spezia) e battezzato dal commediografo Sem Benelli il “Golfo dei Poeti”, c’e’ una piccola insenatura naturale dove regna una pace e un silenzio tale da consentire l’ascolto di una sola melodia: l’eco del mare.

Ogni angolo di questo posto magico racconta una storia, ed è una storia d’amore: l’amore per la famiglia, per il mare, l’amore per quella pace e serenità che solo il tempo perduto può regalare.

Definire l’ “Eco del Mare” una struttura semplicemente “bella” o “accogliente” è limitante, perché oltre alla bellezza e al caldo benvenuto riservato agli ospiti, c’è qualcosa all’ “Eco del Mare” che va ben al di là del fattore estetico: c’è la passione della proprietaria Francesca Mozer (ereditata da papa’ Francois e mamma Nicoletta) per la sua attività. C’e’ la grande voglia di condividere gli interessi di una vita con gli ospiti e il desiderio di scoprire il loro mondo, di comprendere cosa li ha portati in quell’angolo di paradiso.
Ad un viaggiatore spensierato basterà l’atmosfera magica della spiaggia e la vista sul mare blu incontaminato, unito alla deliziosa cucina della locanda, per sentirsi appagato; l’ospite più attento, invece, noterà quelle attenzioni speciali, quei dettagli, disseminati ovunque, che lo faranno sentire accolto, benvenuto, atteso.

“Home away from home” è sicuramente l’espressione più adatta per descrivere L’ “Eco del Mare”: un luogo sospeso nel tempo, avvolgente, delizioso, animato da uno spirito e da un sorriso familiari.
