Gold Label Collection: Vivienne Westwood
A few days ago,I visited the Vivienne Westwood showroom in London and I admired the last collection SS 2015 “Gold Label”. With a touch of magic, a feeling of fairy tales and a campaign to protect the planet, the SS 2015 “Gold Label” collection tells an enchanting story: inspirations include Frederick Worth, the ‘father of haute couture’. Worth’s influence can be seen in collection silhouettes; particularly on dresses, skirts and the tailored pieces of the collection.
With a similar aesthetic, the Dangerous Liaisons coat, from ther AW 1995/96 “Gold Label” show, has been re-visited in silk cotton taffeta with lace embroidery – adding to the historical feel. Prints reference the Wallace Collection, the anti-fracking campaign and a harlequin pattern. While the use of the fig leaf represents Adam and Eve, who Vivienne and Andreas play in a film for End Ecocide – which supports the protection of ecosystems. This campaign was the main message that Vivienne wanted to communicate with this collection.
So, a very fantastic collection thanks to Vivienne and Andreas!

Nei giorni scorsi,ho fatto visita allo showroom londinese della mitica stilista inglese Vivienne Westwood.
Ho avuto la fortuna di “toccare con mano” e provare qualche pezzo della nuova collezione primavera estate 2015 “Gold Label” che è stata presentata a settembre alla fashion week parigina. Una collezione che è un omaggio ai bambini di tutto il mondo. Una collezione multiculturale che trae ispirazione dai bimbi del mondo attraverso i secoli a favore della campagna “End Ecocide”, per un pianeta sano e sostenibile, affinché le generazioni future possano vivere in armonia con la natura. Nel dettaglio, ho potuto ammirare lo stile immenso di Vivienne: maniche ampie, gonne fluttuanti, abiti drappeggianti in stile “Alice nel paese delle meraviglie” che si mischiano a vestitini longuette e tailleur dal taglio classico. I tessuti catturano tutte le fantasie: dalle rigide righe, al fiorato primaverile, fino ai pois.
Insomma, una collezione 10 e lode!

# Italia Independent: a world of colors ♥♥♥
Un press day a tutto colore quello organizzato da Italia Independent nella sua sede operativa di via Pestalozzi a Milano. Il brand di Lapo Elkann propone un’estate 2014 che ricordano i colori della frutta: dal verde dei kiwi al giallo dei limoni, dall’arancio degli agrumi al rosa dei pompelmi. Colori vivaci per una collezione che ormai ha superato le 900 varianti modello/colore di occhiali da sole e montature da vista. Ecco la vera indipendenza, mai un modello uguale all’altro. Tante le novità presentate alla stampa: si comincia con la nuova famiglia degli I-Metal Thermic: occhiali in metallo, con lo speciale trattamento termosensibile che al superamento della temperatura di 30° cambiano colore rilevando pattern celati. C’è poi la gamma sole degli I-Thin Metal: leggerissimi, sottilissimi, resistentissimi, un’innovazione delle classiche avane. I popolari I-Thin sono invece proposti in una gamma dalle colorazioni accese.
La famiglia I-Sport presenta due nuove forme e una serie di colori scelti per le avane, giusto connubbio tra tradizione e innovazione. Sempre super le texture “animalier“, ricreati in una serie infinita di combinazioni. e con l’effetto velluto. Altra novità, il trattamento denominato “peach effect“, che richiama a livello tattile la sensazione che si prova toccando la superficie del frutto, proposto anche questo su una gamma allargata di prodotti. Numerose, infine, le collaborazioni prestigiose con altri marchi: molto cool la capsule collection di piumini e giacche a taglio blazer con Colmar Original oppure quella con Adidas per il mondo scarpe ed accessori.

I-Sport Flexible Strenght
Dedicated to those who are looking for a technological product, the I-sport line stands out for its unique performance, ideal for sports and leisure, without forgetting the style unequivocally I-I. The sunglasses are made of Superflex®, a material much more flexible than nylon, which allows to obtain thin forms, without compromising the strength. The use of this technology has allowed us to design a range of sunglasses with very high resistance, whose torsion rods can tolerate up to 180°.
Metal Thermic Textured Hotness
One of I-I latest products, fully expresses the innovation that I-I represents. The I-thermic treatment is fused with the I-metal family. I-metal thermic products are characterized by a special process that provides the deposition of an enzyme with coloured pigment that, once reached the temperature of 30°C, reacts becoming transparent and letting visible the colour or the texture on the base. Iconic shapes, whose success is consolidated. The thermic treatment will be also available in the tailor made program for metal frames.
I want to remeber the fashion Capsule Collection born from the partnership between Italia Independent and Colmar Originals. The result of this partnership is the men’s down jacket, reversible and made from ultra-light, waterproof polyamide fabric. The jacket is available in either an intense blue or green version or a printed geometric “houndstooth” pattern, with a classic yet modern texture, proposed in a contrasting colour. The padding is in natural down. To accompany the jacket are the essential sunglasses, based on Italia Independent’s most distinctive model, the 090. The “Unique Edition for Colmar Originals” does more than just pick up the colours of the jacket; in the same way that the jacket is reversible, the sunglasses can be transformed thanks to a special I-Thermic treatment used on the temples for both models.
